SEAMEO RECFON Conducted NGTS Advocacy Visits to the Education Offices of Bogor Municipality

SEAMEO RECFON conducted an advocacy visit to the Education Office in Bogor Regency and Municipality on March 5-6, 2024. This activity aimed to report  the progress and monitoring plan of the NGTS program, as well as ensuring the implementation of the program by determining the monitoring stages, assigning roles, and obtaining concrete support from the local Education Office.

Two institutionalised NGTS Schools in Bogor, SMK Wikrama Bogor and SMK Geo-Informatika had declared their commitment to assist each two additional schools and the Education Office endorsed this commitment.

The Bogor District and Municipality Education Office have been apprised of the achievement of the NGTS Program within their respective area. Two institutionalised schools, SMK Wikrama Bogor and SMK Geo-Informatika were expected to share their best practices of NGTS Program implementation with other schools. Additionally, they were committed to assist each two additional schools, and the Education Office endorsed this commitment. The school will receive a formal assignment letter to symbolise the support for their endeavours.
